 Currently, RDF and RPF technologies imported from overseas in the 70's are used. At that time, bulky plastic waste such as polyethylene film, were processed using these technologies. And current method is merely adding compression technology for bulky plastic waste to these RDF and RPF technologies.
However, in highly humid environment in Japan, commodity plasticwaste that contains H2O and organic materials, compression density is not satisfactory.

The reasons for frequent accident in RDF power generation are explained as followings. Inside of the RDF and RPF machines accumulating drops of water from the temperature difference steams and increases inside temperature. And then the chemical reaction like oxidation between water and organic materials inducing fermentation creating flammable gases resulting in explosion.

There are also other problems like bulkiness, low calories, short storage period, automation difficulty to supply ingredients and so on. For our Y-EFM products, RDF and RPF are preparation process. In the past we succeeded pilot process for Oyama town in Gotemba, Shizuoka, which was ordered by Mitsubishi Corporation.
